Five days of worry and then some are over!  My Fiancee had a rough ordeal this past week involving her heart.  She is home now with a clean bill of health.  To celebrate, we are sitting on the porch enjoying this exceptionally mild summer weather.  So, I dug into my cigars and decided to review the last RoMa Craft cigar in my collection.  The Intemperance BA XXI Breach of the Peace.  Another cigar in the line that pays homage to the early days.  I won't bore you with loads of words....Let's smoke!

Construction: A beautiful dark and oily wrapper leaf covers this chunky cigar.  No seams and very minor veins finished with a flawless triple cap.  The wrapper leaves about a quarter of an inch of the filler and binder exposed which creates a really cool look.

Pre-light Aroma and Draw: Out of the cellophane, the BOTP gives off a nice sweet earthy aroma with some leather, cocoa, and sweet tobacco.  The draw is perfect.  Not too wide open and not plugged in any way. 

Light and Burn: Starting out a tad ragged, the Intemperance Breach of the Peace evens out on its own and performs perfectly until the nub with a nice heavy gray ash.

Tasting:  The start of this beautiful cigar gives off sweet earth, cocoa, black pepper, and a very nice mineral note.  The earth and leather balance together to form the core of the cigar as the pepper fades into the very background.  A nice black cherry note pops up as well as a creamy musk that I have noticed in a few cigars recently.  I call it musk for lack of a better description but it is a very aromatic and sweet flavor that is amazing.  An exceptional dried peach note mingles with cocoa and a creamy flavor.  Overall superb so far.

The middle starts off with an increase in the sweetness, muskiness, and adds a nice dark chocolate note.  Here come some more flavors too - buttery cream, a nice herbal flavor, cocoa, and still that musky flavor and aroma.  It's a wicked complex cigar, folks.

The final third moves more earth and a creamy sweet chocolate flavor into the front.  A sweet orange peel, rich spices, and some coffee show up.  I smoked this baby to the nub and it was eye rolling mouth watering delicious from start to finish.  Please do yourself a favor and buy a few of these for yourself. Strength is a tad on the full side but not too far from medium-full.

Value: As I have said before, herein lies the truly amazing thing about RoMa Craft cigars.  This incredible smoke will run you $7.00 even.  Maybe a tad more at a brick and mortar, but so worth every cent it boggles my brain.

Final Thoughts: Skip and Mike know their craft, folks.  I smoked through four of their lineup - choosing to smoke the Ecuadorian Connecticut version of the Intemperance without review and simply for the enjoyment - and all of them have been incredible.  I can honestly say, and I hope Skip and Mike will take this as a major complement, their cigars are as good as anything in Pete Johnson's Tatuaje lineup - yet altogether different.  Their cigars are unique, incredibly priced, masterfully blended, and just plain delicious.  This Intemperance is a tie with the CroMagnon Anthropology as my favorite.  I could smoke ANY of the RoMa Craft cigars daily and be a happy fellow.  So, if you are looking for something new to smoke and haven't had the pleasure, join us, won't you?  You won't be sorry.  Very highly recommended!
