My favorite full-sized monster in skinny form takes the stage today.  The Jason....previously called the JV13...was actually my first full format Monster cigar.  I still have one stashed away for future special occasions too.  Anyhoo, the broadleaf wrapper on the Jason/JV13 really shows what Pete Johnson is capable of.  After a few months of aging, the JV13 went from great to incredible so I can only imagine this new version will do the same.  So....Leather, earth, coffee... a good way to start things off.  Smoke output is so dense that is reminds me of the steamy surface of Crystal Lake.  Vanilla, a touch of black pepper, and some caramel sweetness.  This smokes and tastest exactly like the larger counterpart and is, I believe, better than the Pudgy incarnation.  The slender size gives more notice to the wrapper here and Pete's broadleaf is the best around, period.  As I nub this beauty, I can say for sure that this Skinny Jason is the best of the set so far....Quite an achievement on what has been a terrific set.  Only the Wolf remains.
I have it from an insider that the Jason blend is readily available in the form of the Surrogates Skull Breaker....which explains why that cigar is so awesome.
