Tatuaje Skinny Monsters Mummy

Dry and earthy....That's what I characterized the pudgy and lil Mummies as.  Another fine example of Pete working his magic with the Monster releases.  If you are keeping count, I am half-way through the Skinny set - leaving me with my favorite five remaining.  So, today, if you follow my ramblings, is the Mummy. Starting off I get roasted nuts, cream, coffee, and a slight milk chocolate. The core is dry earth again with a touch of leather.  Additional notes of cream and some caramel pop in about mid-point.  It's a bit more powerful than the prior releases of this blend - the small size would be to blame.  However, I love the extra punch here.  If the original, lil', and pudgy versions were more in line with the Boris Kaloff 1932, this one is more along the lines of the 1959 Hammer version starring Christopher Lee.  A lot more oomph.  So, is this the best in the set so far?  No...maybe a close tie with the Hyde at this point.  This incarnation of the Mummy is terrific from start to finish. If Pete decides to make this a regular production cigar, I highly recommend it as a box-purchase!  If you have just the one in your Skinny set, you are in for a treat.
